Nakakubo is a rather regrettable middle-aged businessman whose hobby is ramen, despite being a relatively attractive handsome man who works at a major company. One day, his coworker invites him out to drink with "gyaranomi girls," women who are paid to go drinking with men. "It's way better than going to a cabaret!" All the men are satisfied, but Nakakubo's mind is on a nearby ramen place that always has a line. He leaves his coworkers and immediately lines up at the ramen restaurant, but in front of him is a woman he remembers seeing before. It was one of the ladies he was drinking with just a little while ago... They meet properly over a bowl of ramen, but where is this meeting between a gyaranomi woman and a ramen-obsessed middle-aged man going to go?
