This is a world where beastfolk live thanks to a blessing from a goddess. Noigia works as an apothecary outside of town. One day he saves Iruchi, a bear cub on the verge of death. Iruchi almost lost his life in an accident, and when he woke up, his body was half possessed by a wild fox, Talju. Noigia doesn't want to deal with anything annoying, but he's enticed by the reward of rare materials so he decides to go with Iruchi on a trip to get his body back. If Iruchi gains his body back, Talju will likely die. But that has nothing to do with Noigia. All he wants is the reward. Or so he should think, but as he spends more time with Iruchi and Talju as they live earnestly, Noigia's heart begins to change. Is there really no way to save both of them?
