Thirteen years after his wife's passing, Joji, an ordinary office worker, and his only daughter Masumi lived peaceful, supportive lives. However, a sudden change came over Masumi. She became withdrawn and even attempted suicide by jumping.

Thirteen years after his wife's death, ordinary office worker Takehito lives peacefully with his daughter, Masumi. But their lives change drastically when Masumi becomes withdrawn and attempts suicide, leaving her in a coma. The school claims bullying was the cause, but Takehito can't confront the perpetrators. Lost and hopeless, Takehito finds solace in Masumi's high school friend, Merii, who compassionately leads him down a path of vengeance against the bullies.
